Then there was the Christmas Eve when all the family was partying at our house and El came up and told me if I didn’t turn on some heat that everybody was going to go home. I was running around like crazy playing hostess and had not noticed there was no heat. Someone had evidently sat in the chair under the thermostat and turned it off by accident.
