KAREN BRADBERRY on AUNT ELLA'S COOKING

Linda recently asked for more recipes from Aunt Ella. I can't remember many items that stood out as special - probably because all her cooking was special. She cooked and cooked. Her antipasta was fabulous and she produced the best ever pots of chili: rich, dark, thick. Despite many inquiries, no one has an answer about the ingredients she used. Dad loved her fried chicken and innards.

Aunt Ella so often hosted the family get togethers and provided all the basics - meats, potatoes, dressing. . . .I guess we just took it all for granted, knowing we were about to enjoy never less than wonderful meals and happy times.
